Odd problem could be mamewah, jpac or both
« on: March 03, 2006, 09:23:51 am »
I'm running standard mame .72 with a Jpac and Mamewah 1.61.  The weird behaviour is that when button 3 is hit and a the joystick moves right--it activates a pause, button 3 + left is coin up.  I can't find anything in my default controller INI that would explain this and the Jpac is set to default (i.e. player 1 is the shift button not button 3)  Any thoughts?  I've attached the mamewah control ini for reference cause I did make some changes in there.

did you test your jpac in test mode?

Try to under dos. (or boot command line version).

on the dos prompt : press CTRL + ALT + P

The JPAC shoud go in test mode.  Try to move your joystic , button etc...  and check output on the screen to see if it matches with that you expect.

(i think it works from the notepad too , but not sure, i never tried).
