Annoying transparent bar on my mtc9000
« on: February 28, 2006, 12:15:20 pm »
Hi,

I did a search on this forum to find a solution to my problem but couldn't find any so I hope there's someone that can help me out here.

I have this cabinet with a Hantarex MTC9000 monitor. All is working well accept one strange thing: when it displays very bright screens I get this transparent bar (or band) in the top of the screen. The brighter the display gets, the further the transparent bar drops down. So, on dark screens the transparent bar is not visible at all but (for instance) on a full white screen the bar will fill up almost half the screen.
It has no effect on the bottom of the screen, tho (ie. screen doesn't get darker or anything like that).
See image below....

Maybe someone that recognizes this problem?

Thanks!
Rizz

Brightness/contrast is being overloaded?

its some sort of frame lapover, could be caused by what ken said or possibly badly adjusted vertical height, hold, shift or even a cap on its way out.if you reduce the picture vert size and it goes then its more likely adjustment.
