Music problems when ePSXe is launched from Mamewah
« on: February 25, 2006, 12:55:14 pm »
I've got ePSXe running on my cab using Mamewah as my front-end. Some games launched this way play CDDA music (like Tekken 3 and Tempest X) and some do not (like DOA and Wipeout).

I'm using these plugins:

Video: Pete's Open GL 2.7
Sound: Eternal SPU 1.41
CD: Mooby2 2.8

When I launch any of these games from the ePSXe GUI, the music plays fine. So something is going wrong in how I'm launching them or...

My command line paramaters are as follows:

-nogui -slowboot -loadbin <filename>

The file type extension I'm using is .img

These are CloneCD images from my PS1 discs.

Again if I launch from ePSXe all music plays fine but when launching from Mamewah I get some games with music, some without. What gives?

Any advice appreciated.
