Hello ArcadeControls Board Masterminds,
I posted this message over at ULTIMARC, but the board over there is usually slower then this one, so I thought I'd see if anybody here had an answer for me.
So I finally got around to trying to install the arcadevga tonight. I am running a crappy old P3 450 Windows XP System. It is a Dell motherboard, that has no onboard video. So, when I install this card I have to take my other card out and put it in the 1 AGP slot.
However, no matter which of the two ports I plug my monitor into, I get a screen of seriously wavvy lines, I can't make out anything but basic colors of my computer starting up. When Windows XP finally loads, the screen turns blue (I'm assuming blue screen of death) and restarts.
So, even if I run in safe mode, I have to plug the arcade VGA in prior to turning on the PC, and no matter what I always get these wavy lines. How can I get the monitor to view this? Do I need to plug it into my arcade monitor and use that to install the arcadevga?
Please let me know what your thoughts are.
Thanks a lot,
Matt
