Congo Bongo scans...
« on: February 21, 2006, 01:42:13 pm »
I've got a Congo Bongo marquee..  I want to vectorize a couple different pieces of it.  But I don't have the time to do the whole thing..

So, my question is 2-fold..

1) Is the following image 'good enough' to vectorize?  It's a 300dpi scan..  However, since my scanner isn't big enough, the right side sits 'higher' and is a little out of focus..?  Any thoughts on that?  I think the colors are fine...  Would a picture taken with a 3.1MP camera be better?

2) Any interest in this, beyond mine?  Like I said, I just have to have a couple of pieces of it, but am willing to scan the whole thing if anybody wants it.

THANX!

Jason

I used the scanner technique then pieced the in-focus portions together to get the final image with great success.  Scan it in 3 or 4 parts, then if you need help joining the parts, myself or others in this forum can help.
It doesn't matter if you win or lose....it's how you play the videogame.
