So I left 2 12 packs in the garage for a party and 7 of the 24 froze and 2 blew open.. My question is does anyone think the remaining 5 in the sink will be ok once thawed or will they blow open and crap in the sink later today...

My number one advice is....

STOP! LOOK & LISTEN!

ALL them there Beers CAN be saved if you carefully follow these instructions:

1. Drink the ones that BLEW now!!! You may not be able to save them later on as most of the goodly beer fizz will be gone for ever to the beer gods....

2. Put remaining Un-Blown Beers in the sink with a good amount of nearly cold water. Let em warm up slowly. They're been very stressed and deserve a well worn rest.

3. Once the Slushie effect is gone, you may proceed to drink these as well.

Good Luck

BTW: Beer Sliushies are good every now and then as well.

Good Luck,

Jabba

That's why you never leave beer alone unattended.  If you wouldn't leave your dog out there alone, why on earth would you leave your beer there?  People will steal your beer before your dog, so protect it with your life, man! ;)

Glad to report that after putting the frozen ones in the sink with some room temp water they melted back to normal, put them back in the fridge and I enjoyed them the next day:)

this needs to be sticked in case it happens elsewhere.. maybe even start a new section.....

We don't need a sticky for this.  Round up the BYOAC beer posse and go do a little "regulating", and you alcohol abusers will get the idea pretty quick.  We'll let you live too so you can spread the word, but it ain't gonna be pretty the condition we leave you in.

We never thawed 'em slow.  That's a good idea
