I'm currently refurbing an Electrohome G07-CBO from a Pac-Land cab.. the monitor doesn't come on (the rest of the game does) and I'm currently disassembling it to refloe the joints, install a cap kit, and replace the flyback/HOTs (hope that does the job

).. while it's apart, the tube and PCBs are filthy.. what is the best way to clean these (tube and PCBs)? Degreaser/rust remover/jewelry cleaner and a toothbrush? Anti-static wipes and just clean it as good as I can manage? Naval jelly the rust spots? I have no idea what is safe to use and can't seem to find any info on it..
Another question.. there are some kind of rubber feet between the neck and tube assemblies.. one has popped off and I assume it will need to be reglued/taped.. but one seems to be dripping (or was attached messily to begin with) on the wires in the neck.. does this matter since it's non-conductive anyways? Any way to sop up the glue without risk of damaging the wires/neck (probably not, I would think, but may as well ask)?
