TMNT Vector

Just a sneak peak to get everyone interested ;)

Very, very early into the process.  Slowly filling in color over the base black at this point, that way the nice, thick black lines from the original image are left behind.

Oh, and the vector itself is going to be big.  Think Marquee :)

A bit more of the dark green shadow, and after cleaning up the vector a tiny bit more, the black lines appear and the image starts getting some depth more character. :)

Awesome.. Any chance you are going to do all 4 turtles AND make them available for others?  :)

Well this image isn't even finished yet...take that as a hint that some other characters are going to be added ;)

I've also got some other really sweet images I could do of the turtles, but it all depends on time.  Most of my vector work is weekend only, so its a bit of a slow process.

Oh, and yes, since there are few good Turtles images (I can only recall one good Leo one in the arcadeart website, by Zorg I want to say) I will be sharing it.

I assume these images are taken from the new cell shaded sytle used on the current games on PS2/GC?

Looks great!

Nope, but rather I believe the style of the game is based off of the style of these images ;)

The images are from the people who do the current animated cartoons.  The style and cartoons started becoming popular again, so they continued the look into the most recent games.

Regardless, I'm hoping to get a bit more of the image put together this weekend, depending on how busy I end up.  I think I can squeeze in a decent amount of work though.

toe.

Actually, I just haven't posted in quite awhile ;)

I'm still alive though, and adding a bit to the vectors whenever I have time.  But as I've said in many of my posts, life just keeps getting busy and doesn't leave much time for the vector work!

This one will get finished sometime soon though.  I've got a nice long weekend for 4th of July, and I was thinking about the vector lately, so I'll try to squeeze in some work then.

But don't count this thread dead just yet ;)
