Why doesn't my up/down scroll work with firefox?

The screen shows me that the application is trying, but the page won't move.  I'm talking about the scroll pad on the right of my mouse pad.  It's driving me crazy!

Mebbe you lost focus on the windw you're trying to scroll in.

Otherwise, it's gotta be that teh intra-nets hayt joo.

Mouse pad, scroll pad, ftw are you talking about?  If you were downloading something, I'd bet that's the problem.  It's done, and you don't realize it.  Click the download box, go back to your page, and you should be able to scroll again.  Like I said, you lost focus of that window due to something

Hey tewl bag, I bet it's your hot quick chat you were crowing about.  Someone prolly replied to you and you didn't realize it, and that's what's stealing focus and not allowing you to scroll up or down.

Try the scroll bar and shut yer piehole  

Oh, and is your basement door crooked yet?  I may have to visit if it isn't

Well, thank you for the thoughtful and insightful help rimjob.   It's always been this way since I installed firefox.  I thought there must be some kind of work around or something I need to let my computer know.  And the door is very straight, thank you very much!(*hides hand planer behind back)
