Control Does Not Work With Mamewah Menu?
« on: February 02, 2006, 03:32:12 pm »
Ok i have set up mamewah to use as my frontend and it is working  just  fine. I have hooked up an X-Arcade control deck as a temporary measure, and configured it with use for Mamewah and Mame.

It is working, but when I bring up the menu (emulator,  music,  game list etc) the controller does not work (i.e it won't  move up and down).

Now it works perfectly within the normal game menu so am a little confused as to why it will not work witthin this menu.

Suggestions welcome!

Lea

You have to tell the mamewah.ini that the controller is to be used in that menu.  When you enable controllers in mamewah, you still have to direct the program to use the joysticks in other settings, in this case the menu.

Hi thanks for the heads up.

I seem to have now encountered a massive problem - for some reson the controller is not lighting up any more (when connected to the key board).

It does light up if connected to the computer by itself, but still does not work. I think i might have unplugged it at some stage, hence why it is not working. My keyboard will not work if plugged it to the x-arcade.

What the hell have i done, and is there any way to fix it?

Tried a system restore, but no success.

Please help :'(
