It should be RGB like to an arcade monitor. I don't think you'l be able to hook it up straight away. Check this link out for cables http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/shop/4198/Video_Cables_RGB_Cables.html

You might have to do a scart to arcade rgb hack. Check out the pc2jamma site for the circuit needed. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

your sit downs have rptv so your input is red/green/blue/sinc(prob a yellow lead) so therefore all you should need are 4 bnc leads connected into a scart plug-bit of a job but 2morrow i am at an arcade in malaga and i will check the inputs again,i am guessing that you have either mitsubishi or toshiba projectors.if you let me know what type screen you have then i will see what that 9 pin plug does exactly, but whatever all you need is the pin out of that 9 pin and the pin out of a scart-should be really easy, then you just need a switch box because you dont want more than one signal at a time-by the way read a few of your posts and i think you are insane ;)

all i can do is tell you how an engineer would tackle this problem without a circuit diagram, the 9 pin socket will have wires from the monitor going to it,nearly always wiring colours are standard green/blue/red/black/white or yellow these wires denote your red/green/blue/common and sinc-using a meter i would trace these wires to see if they have continuity to the game monitor wiring-if you dont know how to use a meter than your knackered im afraid.once you attained the correct connections its just a case of going to maplins and buying a scart plug,a bit of cable and your 9 pin plug then a bit of soldering and bingo sorted.
otherwise i need more info like the toshiba model no.
you should be able to remove that panel without too much difficulty-have a look see how many wires are connected to the 9 pin and what colours they are.
once you have made your correct lead you then need to make a switch box to switch between game and dvd,but please get me more info what you are trying to do should be easy.

Hey,

the problem is that not all 9pin RGB connectors are wired the same - I've come across some weird ones in the past. And if its old, it may even use TTL signal which would need converting before you can stick standard analogue RGB out of it. You may also need to ensure you are using the right voltage levels (I am not familiar with what these projectors want.)

You posted earlier that the projector only has 1 socket. Could you get a pic of this? Also, could you post the model number of the projector, this would help the most. Did the whole unit come with a manual?

Well the off-the-shelf 9pin to 15pin is probably not wired correctly for your rear projection monitor, so something has probably shorted/fed incorrectly. Seeing as somethings blown (could be a capacitor, could be worse) you'll need to take it apart to repair (or take for repair).

well sounds like you have blown a cap on the signal input circuit, first thing you should do is check to see if your game reconnected works ok.if your monitor has blown and you need it repaired talk to Tony at deith leisure, you can find contact details on their web site-he will probably tell what lead you need to do dvd thing as well.he is a good guy and will try to help but i think this is gonna cost you.
