TV video source won't lock
« on: February 01, 2006, 11:06:36 am »
Not arcade related yet - I'll be using this for a showcase cab when I can afford to replace it.

I have a 9 year old 32" Sony Trinitron tv.  The video signal will not lock.  It flashes between the signal and no signal.  The range of this is from every second to lasting over 20 minutes without losing the signal.  Its more frequent when it's first turned on.  I've tried all the inputs with different video sources with the same results - except my Sony DVD player.  During the menu of a dvd the signal flashes but the signal is steady during a film.

Any ideas what's causing this?

Thanks,

Rob
