Well the obvious first questions is, have you gone to the motherboards manufacturers website and downloaded the newest drivers?

So if you're not sure, why post? nVidia does a lot more than video nowdays.

Otra - Re-install the bundle that comes with the motherboard.  The chip is most likely an AC 97.  When you check the hardware list in Windows, what does it say under the sound, video and game controllers?  If the sound drivers are there, then you have a problem with the hardware or the settings (is sound muted in the e.q.?)

Did you change power supplies with the new case?  If so swap back to the old one.  Might be worth a shot, or check and see if it's a pwer issue, or you might have something shorted under the board.  Are you sure the speakers are working and in the right socket?

Well, you said it was working, then it wasn't, and all you did was swap cases...well start eliminating the things you changed.  It's a lot easier swapping out the PS over the whole thing, so start with that. It doesn't matter if it's more powerful, something isn't working.

Worst case scenario: put the computer back in the old case and see if that takes care of the problem.

Did you plug in any front mounted headphone/mic jacks (common on new cases) into the mobo?  If so then try and disconnect them.  They may be plugged into the wrong port or shorted.

you know what i couldnt find anything, i never really plugged in anything new... just my old wires etc... theres a speaker on the bottom of chassis that i havent really hooked up, (i tried when installing the new case but nothing really worked) and as well as the reset switch, those two i have no idea how to set up

Maybe you should have someone check out your work there.  If you don't even know how to hook up the wire leads to the switches and LED's, you might have jumpered something wrong, or any number of things.  I'm not insulting you or anything, just stating a fact.  Its not tough to swap out a motheboard, but there is a bit of a knack to it.
