How to start Playchoice games

It says you are supposed to choose the games and then hit the game enter button or something. I have tried all of the buttons and nothing will start the game after the quarters have been inserted. What's the trick?

I can't remember exactly but you first must pick a slot (like 0-9), so you would probably have to hit 0 on the keyboard.  Then I think you hit Enter to start.

It is such a pain in the ass, I just play those games on the nintendo.  So I siwtch over to my NES list and play them through FCE Ultra.
