vga vs arcadevga
« on: January 25, 2006, 07:58:12 pm »
im looking to purchase a moniter tommorow for my mame cab.
im looking into the wells u3100 vga i heard mix reviews about this moniter due to resolution problems.
or i was thinking about arcadevga then i could pick from a more selection of moniters to be able to hook to my pc.
i just wanted if any body around here had a chance to see the u3100 or any promblems i might run into if i due decide to get it.
or if i should stick to the arcadevga

thank for any help

Heh, never used that exact model btu I have used the arcade vga cards about 4-5 times with winblows as well as a compatabile standerd vga card with advance mame and and they look the same on a k7000 series WG monitor. My only issue was setting up the .ini's for the game resolutions... I was usuing those auto tools that do it for you and none of them worked that well. I basically found a working stable resolution and set that across the board. lloks great.. Im not that much of a perfectionist.\\\\\
