Wells Gardner Monitor Help - Please

Hello, I have just fixed a 25" wg monitor thanks to this forum. I do still have one slight problem that I can not seem to resolve though. The picture is crystal clear and looks good but it has a red tint to it throughout, the white is pink, brown is orange and blue is a purple color. I have tried to adjust the red but it only seems to go higher (more red), not any lower. Any ideas???

Please someone tell me I am just missing an adjustment somewhere.

I'm no expert, but I'd suggest increasing the green and blue to get a nice white, and then lowering the brightness if necessary?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that it didnt seem to help. I switched the red and green and the red still seemed over powering. All 3 colors are working but the green seems dark even when its driven by the red and viseversa. Blue seems ok and red it all over very strong. Green seems weak for some reason. I guess I am going to have to pay someone to look at this thing that has the tools to adjust it and proper meters to look to see if its working correctly. I am just dissappointed due to it going from competly dead to working this close to right. Oh well if anyone has anyother ideas let me know.

Sorry, WG k7000 series. I was reading around trying to find similar issues but I dont know. I keep playing with it and it is close. The only way to get "white" is to turn brightness way down then the white is close but it still is pink. Is there a way to do white balance without a scope? URG!! I am soooo close, but yet so far. Thanks for trying to help.

you got to start at the beginning with colour issues,turn down your contrast to min,turn down your foreground and background colours to min,turn your screen volts on the lopti so you can just make out the picture,then turn up your background colours one by one until you can just make out that colour,then bring your contrast up slightly,then fore ground colours slightly,then contrast and brightness(then you can start fine tuning the foreground and background colours),finally get your focus spot on.
sounds to me your background red is too high,cant remember where those pots are on the k7000 chassis (usually neck card) but ken layton will know this.
