PC monitor resolution question
« on: January 22, 2006, 12:05:10 am »
Hey folks.

I just upgraded the PC in my cab and am now having some resolution problems with some games.  (I get my "upgrades" from cast off PC parts.)

Some games that played fine with the last graphics card now give me the static-y smear of pixels across across the screen that mean it's trying to display a resolution that the monitor can't handle.

for example, Golden Axe, Puzzle Bobble, Penguin Bros, and Cameltry no longer play.

Is there a config file that I should fiddle with to get this fixed?  My wife is going thru Puzzle Bobble withdrawal.

Thanks!

Fixed it.

I got Minwah's Resolution Tool and set all of the games that fuzzed out to use a different resolution.

Thanks!
