Help with games ex thanks

Hello, great frontend i was just wondering if i could get a bit of help to finish my setup...
1. I have a slikstik quad 4, could i please get some instructions on where to put my config file, i looked last night & im not quite sure where to place the folder

2. I assume to change the theme you do this thru displays i have not gotten this far.
I ready to finish the mame section & start daphne, also need to get rid of the nag screen

1. You shouldn't need to place a config file anywhere unless you are referring to something you customized out of the slik stik std. Fire up the configuration app. Start --> programs ---> GameEx ---> Configuration and click on the INPUT button on the left. Once this opens there is a clickable drop down for enable slik stik / IPAC support. Select  Yes and hit Save at the bottom of the screen.

2. To change themes open the configuration app mentioned above and click on the DISPLAY button thing on the left and the first item on the page will be THEME. Select from the list. If you have a new theme that you downloaded separate from the install then place the extracted folder in the c:\program files\gameex\themes directory and the next time you start up the configuration application it will show up in the list of themes.

Ok, thanks for the help, i got the theme working no problem & i also enabled slikstik support, my player 2 is perfect but player 1 does not work right, i have to use the trackball buttons, i just have a standard slikstik quad 4, i saw a note from tom that he told someone to go into controllers tab & under the 'default input layer' choose x-arcade, i thought maybe i could go into this area & choose slikstik & maybe this work fix my issue, thanks for help
