Why do some many roms for mame not work?
« on: January 11, 2006, 04:55:58 pm »
I have found many mame roms for my new cabinet, but it seems like only about half of them run with the new version of mame. Many zips seem to have wrong or missing files. Is this normal?

mame changes, roms get redumped, etc.
use these to see if your roms work with a version of mame

Also a big problem is sometimes the "parent" file is changed to another version. You always need the parent file.
NO MORE!!
