Noob Rom Question
« on: January 10, 2006, 11:00:17 am »
I am kind of embarrassed to ask this, but when a new version of MAME is available, do the roms ever (have to) get updated?

Do you need the new MAME version to run the "new" roms?

Yes.  Sometimes the developers make changes to existing drivers which would require you download the affected roms.

Yes.
