Great question.  That remote has at least one button I'll never use.

a day after you get on all the labels are worn off.

though you could mod it so theres no button where the nag up volume is.  actually just get rid of the nag volume controls all together just have a mute button.

You take it along to family functions.  When you need a distraction to allow you to wipe your ass on the curtains, you turn that thing up.  I found out that it's not specific to YOU, it's a general-purpose nag button ;D
