Dust is a great conductor. I'm really surprised it isn't working better than a system in a clean room.

Just kidding I found these pics on another forum. But a coworker found out that  I build/fix computers and asked me if he brought his pc into work could i look at it. He brings in the pc the next day and says it runs ok for a few mins then he hears a beeping from inside the case. I open it up and it was worse than the pics I posted the cpu fan was a spinning hairball. I brought it in the room we use to dust off machines with compressed air and the room was filled with dust in seconds.

The correct answer to "do you know how to fix PCs" is always NO.

Solved the problem. Just leave the side cover off.

Haven't had any dust problems in six months. Although my breathing is now a bit harsh.
Now in a tasty new flavour.

Nice. Moving up to ---my bottom---, slowly but surely.

Actually, I did have to leave the side cover off. The damn video card generates so much heat, the fans go nuts. And I'm too cheap to buy a new case.

There's a few bits in Home Alone, in which the bad guys look like they sneezed into that case.

Yeah. Same trick that applies to most blondes in general. Blow hard.

"Can your son come over to install my router?"

"Sure, I'll just install the software and be done."

"No ethernet cable?  Let me run to the store and get one.  No ethernet port?  Let me go buy a card...No surge protector?"

2 hours later...(whispering)"How much should we pay him?"   "20?"  "Is it right to pay him?"

"Well, here's $20.  I know gas is expensive for you kids these days."
