monitor compatibility question
« on: January 01, 2006, 09:33:03 pm »
Ken ought to know this: will either of these monitors work as replacements for a 19k7901 monitor?:

19k4951
19k4606

I realize the connector is different but would there be any problem in rewiring one of the k4 monitors to replace the k7?  thx

*shrug* it should.  Shouldn't even have to change the connector.  Well, maybe the power connector.

Yes, the video connector is the same, but the power plug may be different.

I'll verify the power plug but even if the connector itself is different can't that also just be rewired?  I'm referring to the two wires coming from the transformer as the "power" plug.  Furthermore, will any transformer from an arcade cabinet connected to a 19" monitor be acceptable to power up any of these monitors?

Any monitor isolation transformer is acceptable.
