hey i just made template i think its allright........im gonna go get it printed soon from kinkos to see it in life.




what hardware im gonna use for control panel..................

4 super joysticks
40 competition buttons
for keyboard encoder maybe a ipac 4

well you experts what you think bout my layout of control panel









as u can see i didnt' make the side triming with a router so im stilll figuring out what i can do to give the sides a red color to match my controls






feedback on what i should do and stuff lol


still workin on the control panel 4 joysticks and 8 buttons each player.

don't be so hard on yourself for minor mistakes... sure you might notice them, but others won't usually see them

Did you use particle board or MDF on your cabinet?

i used mdf 5/8"

damn im tryin to make a template for my control panel with joystick and buttons layout and print it out at kinkos does anyone have any reccomendation on doing that?
4 joysticks 8 buttons each player 4 character select etc

Decide exactly what you want and then download a trial version of Illustrator. You then have 30 days to learn & design the CP template.

I found Illustrator to be brilliant for this.

Do you really need all those buttons for players three and four? My understanding is that there aren't any 4 player games that use more than three buttons per player.

Yikes, 8 buttons each??? If I worked for Happ I would say it is allright but tht is too many buttons.

Ipac4 has 56 inputs. You already seem to need more than this based on your current CP layout.

whoa that totally blew out of mind damn hmmm guess i can probally just maybe jut solder the admn buttons to my keyboard but how does shift keys on ipac4 exactly work ? does anyone know?
