Zsnes 1.42 + ArcadeOS 2.51
« on: December 30, 2005, 04:03:48 pm »
Hey,
Im trying to get Zsnes to work under ArcadeOS on a DOS system.

I have added 'zsnes.app' and 'zsnes.dat' files from the arcadeos page to the c:\arcadeos directory.

I have edited the 'zsnes.cfg' file to disable to gui.

The rom path is set to c:\zsnes\roms and the gui goes straight there when its used.

From what i can tell, the only place the rom directory is mentioned is at the bottom of the 'zsnes.cfg' file and it set correctly there.

Thing is, no games come up in the list.

If i move a game to the root of the zsnes directory it appears in the list and works.  Anyone know whats going on?

Also, the roms display as filenames in Arcadeos and id like them displayed as their full titles.  Is this possible?  The Zsnes GUI looks at the headers of the files, so superm~1.smc becomes Super MarioWorld.  Is this possible?
