Nintendo Ram
« on: December 23, 2005, 10:33:26 am »
I have a Nintendo Machine, specifically a Rtype.  It's a stock machine, It appears to be a dedicated machine. It's in a VS type cabinet, but I pretty sure it's not a conversion.

It's giving me a Ram Error.  It's saying the work Ram is failing a byte check. Likely the chip is dead.

I looked over the schematics, and there are 4 SRAM chips in it,  It says 64K S-RAM X 2.  The  part number is = uPD4364CX-10L  It's a 28pin Ram.  They are in more than one location.

Know anything about which rams are which in a nintendo machine? Where is the "work ram"?
