Creative New Years' date ideas...?
« on: December 23, 2005, 08:48:47 am »
I'm probably going to regret asking here, but...

Trying to gather last minute ideas for New Year dates.  Looking for something other than the traditional soiree - maybe a little quieter, preferably not too fancy dress.  So far I'm looking into this New Year cruise thing in Kemah, or possibly borrowing a beach house to hang with a few other couples and shoot off fireworks...

Money's not too much of an object, but leaving town is out of the question (would've had to plan farther ahead for a trip to Vegas, etc), so this needs to be something that can be done in the greater Houston area.

I know it's a creative bunch here...  Any (real) suggestions?

And here I thought the (real) part would keep the wierdos away.

I'm married.  I forget what a date is.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

Have a key party. ;)

Seriously though, I have two kids with noone to watch them.   I forgot that people actually do fun stuff on New Years Eve.  :-\

Wait, I got one.

Party somewhere, then hop on a jet at a few minutes after midnight, fly across the international date line, and do it all over again.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

Whatever you choose, keep in mind that chicks love to get laid on new year's! So make it something "romantic", ending with a stay in a hotel.

 ;D
NO MORE!!

And, if you can stretch that event across the midnight barrier, you can remind her that you've been at it since last year.
