This makes me sad :(.  Was I the only one who wanted to play it on gamecube right now?

I saw this one coming. With a delay into Spring they needed to do something to make it enticing to both the current and next generations. With a mild upgrade in power in the Revolution, you had to figure they'd make it playable with the new controller. I can't imagine how it'll play, but I hope it's not like the power glove. That thing was a nuisance to play with.

It will still be a gamecube game. It is just that, when played as a gamecube game on the revolution, it will have extra features.

did anyone read over the 100-hour quote on gameplay?

if im not mistaken, the new metal gear took me 2days at about 6-7hrs and the shadow of collossus with stuff like KOTOR being a bit longer but all at almost the same... this could be a end up being another modern game marvel...

but then again morrowind still taunts me on gameplay, but content is rare...

yep :) imagine that was without all the sidequests!

most certainly that figure includes the sidequests as well though
