DC parts and accessories...
« on: December 20, 2005, 04:05:17 pm »
Where is the best place to buy Dreamcast stuff?
I want to get memory cards and maybe another controller.  Any ideas?  I'm in Canada, so I assume I'd need to order...
Is there anything in particular I should be looking for?  I've only had a DC for a couple of months now...I'm addicted to Gauntlet Legends, but I can't save my games...very frustrating...

Thank you.

if you want some VMU's. I'd gladly give you a pair. If you want to cover shipping....

If you have a gamestop or ebgames (unsure about Canada) you can pick them up for about $2 - $3 each and original DC controller are another $3.

I haven't seen anything DC related in either gamestop or EB for almost 1.5 years.  Maybe it's just my location though.

Still readily accessible here in CA. If there is enough interest after Xmas I could do a run and snag some stuff on to pass on to others with no markup. If its needed that is. My local Game Crazy has some too including light guns, etc.

Same in MA. They don't carry any DC stuff whatsover. Strangley tho, they still carry a massive used PS1 used game stock. I get DC stuff off eBay now if I can snipe for cheap enough.

Ordering DC stuff online is the best way to go.

One just opened like 2 weeks ago 3 blocks from my house.  Ive been in there like 4 times so far...

Yeah...sadly none of the games stores around the DC area have much Dreamcast selection left.  So, it's luck of the draw sometimes.

You can almost always find people selling complete systems with VMUs and other goodies on eBay.  Prices seem pretty good, too.
