easymame & autoboot CD??
« on: December 19, 2005, 01:36:35 pm »
Hello,

how can I make an autoboot cD when I start up my computer so that it goes into easymame automatically (once in easymame, you can use standard arcade controls). I would like the computer to autoboot and then refer to the ROM images that are on the hard drive so that it is truly an arcade machine.

Anybody got a clue how to do this? I know it is possible...I havent figured it out myself though...

Thanks a lot guys.

Why do need a cd?
maybe I miss understand you on easymame. I had a mame called easymame.
(mame with auto fire built in) ( the version I had , hated window XP)
make it your shell.

I am not able to tell you how to do this... I did a search on auto start
and fallowed the answers to other posts and it worked for me.

joy monkey has a floppy that boots right into vantage.
kool stuff if you ask me. No hard drive even needed in the PC. (that is what is so kool to me.) no OS , no Hard drive No Cd
