classic games and newer games?
« on: December 19, 2005, 01:32:13 am »
OK, I am going to build a cocktail table and I would like to have a monitor that will display the classic game as close to orginal as possible but I would also like to use the table to surf the web.

ok, I don't really need to surf the web with it but I would like to play other games beside the classics like Ms Pac Man and Donkey Kong I would also like to play Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.

for getting as close to original as possible go for any cga (arcade) monitor and an arcadevga graphics card (forget surfing on this setup)

for looking good (but not quite original) use a 19" computer monitor, try and get an older one with a curved tube to look closer to arcade original. you will be able to surf with this setup
