I noticed the 360 already has arcade controls available for purchase!

It's a good stick (Hori sticks are generally nice), but it seems pricey.

It is a stick being released for a specific game that is only on 360, and though it probably works on the PC, it does not include drivers or support, so it would actually be stupid to mention it.

Plug it into the 360 it will work perfectly. Plug it into a PC, and any number of things could be an issue, meaning more tech support, meaning more money.

Creative people that want it on the PC, will get it on the PC. No need to advertise it.

The question I'm wondering is whether the old X-Box controllers will work on the 360. If they do then you could simply buy a Hori joystick for the original X-Box and you'll know that it will also work on a PC with a suitable adapter.

Of course if Micro$oft has deliberately made the old controllers obsolete then that's yet another reason to wait for the Playstation 3.

Nope, they no workie.

I will get a 360, because I like to have em all, but MS made a few moves for this generation that I think just plain suck.

Non standard hardware (optional hard drives, instead of standard), backward compatibility (but no way of using the original controller or of transferring saves), and worldwide semi-multitanious launch (in other words MASSIVE system shortages) being some of those moves.

What, you want to wait for that boomerang and more broken promises? No thanks!  ::)

It appears you're right about the controllers and it gets worse.
