Dreamcast to real arcade wheel/pedals interface??
« on: December 16, 2005, 05:48:27 pm »
I searched, but could find no conclusive answer. I'm have a dedicated driving cab with Happs analog pedals, digital shifter and a 270 wheel. Is it possible to interface a dreamcast to these controls?
If so, how does one do this?

Thanks,

Goz

Take a look at the Driving kit by ExcellentCom

They also make a gun kit that enables the use of real arcade guns for the DC.

You'll need to ask specifically is it comes with the HAPPS part, etc...

You can easly wire real arcade steering to a dreamcast wheel if you are familer with gamepad hacking. Steering wheel controls is just left and right and you can solder rest of the buttons just like a regular gamepad.I took one apart but never got around building a driving cab.

Someday....
