Best place to buy capacitors?

I've now got a list of all the capacitors I need for my MTC9000 and was ready to buy when I found out the site I was ordering from had a minimum of 5 quantity on each! Is there anywhere available where I can buy just the ones that I need? By the way, I'm in the UK but would be willing to pay for International postage if I need to. Also, is it worth changing any of the ceramic etc. capacitors, or should I just stick with the electrolytics?

In a capacitor kit, only the electrolytic capacitors are changed. No other types need to be changed. Electrolytics dry out, change value, and/or leak over time.

I buy mine from www.mouser.com and you can buy individual ones if you want.

ADD: One of the capacitors I noted, a 200v 330uf capacitor, seems to be some kind of filter cap (I would say that as its so large) is it safe/needed to change this? I've looked at replacements but they list things like AC ripple which is a bit out of my league

In general, the very large (physically) filter capacitors last a long time and are usually not replaced unless it (that specific capacitor) exhibits a problem.

I just re-capped my MTC9000, got the kit from swallow amusements (in UK) for just over a fiver. You get 19 caps and instructions. My monitor was slightly different to the schematic provided for fitting but not too bad to work out. http://www.coin.demon.co.uk/-video.htm#hantarex
Thanks for your help Ken with my monitor. It turns out someone had changed one of the caps for a smaller value to widen the screen. It was the right width with the original board but too wide running on an arcadevga. All OK now, good as new!
Oh and I also found out how much smoke is produced by installing one the wrong was round! No damage done thankfully and after a change of pants and a new capacitor it was all good.

Already done that kit, mine's a different model to the "standard" apparently.. a BY 01, the kit from swallow is for the BZ 01 or something... Only about 11 of the capacitors would match my board at all, so I'm ordering every other (except the filter ) capacitor seperately to fix that problem once and for all. =)
Oh, and about the polarity thing.. yeah, I quadruple checked.. loud noises and/or smoke would scare me enough not to look at another monitor again

It's a wierd feeling when you turn off the mains, watch your cab plume out smoke and it suddenly flashes through your mind that you cant throw water on it... there's no way I'm going near it and there's no fire extinguisher! Doh!!
I'm only a hobby type electronics dabbler (the worst kind I suppose!) Tried RS and Maplin?

Maplin will get the parts in for you if you give them a list, they don't stock useful parts  . I ordered some pots for my adjustment board and I only bought one of each.

I was reluctant too, it took me nearly 3 weeks to pluck up enough courage to do it hehe. Never had any smoke myself (thank god), though a number of near-miss electrical hazards due to stupidity from previous owner of one of my cabinets (all fixed now though =)).. am only hobby too, and 16 so I don't get to spend as much time on it as I would like to >.> Thanks for the links, I'll have a look at em.
