And I'm sure that $400 will really put a dent in his multi-million dollar salary.

But we all know the *real* truth why Ballmer doesn't want an XBox360: he's scared his house will catch on fire.

their just trying to do damage control on this availability issue, his kids have had one since alpha testing im sure.

Ballmer hasnt bought one yet cause he knows its garbage.  I knew the 360 would have problems, but this is rediculous. CNN reported something like 16% of all 360s sold the first week were returned because of hardware/software conflicts.

I'll wait until I see a stable production run before I go shelling $500 for a console. Until then, Dig Dug suits me just fine.

I find that story a little far-fetched.

At any rate I bought one and haven't had any problems up to this point. I love it!
