Digital Leisure - Dragons Lair CD or DVD?
« on: December 07, 2005, 03:22:43 pm »
I have my cabinet up and running great with the mame roms but I want to get DL and Space Ace going now. I have looked at digital leisures site for the product but which version should I be getting CD or DVD. Of course I want to convert the pics to run off of the daphne emulator, just wondering which way I should be going to make it as simple as possible?

NOT asking for the DL or SA roms, I'm looking for what version I need to PURCHASE to enable me to convert it to daphne. They have 20th anniversary, individual boxes, etc... both CD or DVD, I'm thinking DVD???

20th anniversary DVD-Video is the way to go. It has DL, SA, and DL2, and it also has the prototype footage. Not to mention other goodies, like the Dragon's Lair episode of Starcade.
I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.

Please read the wiki!

I'm no expert, so take this with a grain of salt.  But it's my understanding that the 20th Anniversary DVD-Video version will NOT work.  I can say that the 20th Anniversary DVD-Rom version does work, and very well.
