man Ive been waiting for this.

I was hoping Mr. Butler was going to update his.  Yesterday I decided it was time to update and downloaded everything I needed and was hoping I didnt have to go through mamewah to config.

That thing has been discussed MANY times. It's a great program IF you are using the proper version of MameWAH. It does NOT support many of the new features or INI file format of the lastest couple of beta versions of MameWAH.

I highly recommend setting up 1.62v9 from www.mameworld.net.  You can find all of the .ini's at JCrouse's site, and I'm starting to feel a little froggy.  I think I am going to post my entire 1.62 folder somewhere.  If anyone is willing to host it for the community, I will send them a copy of it.  Anyone should be able to take the contents of that folder and make there emulators work.  It really isn't that bad once you get it set up.  The reason I love this program, is that it runs all the external apps I need and there are more than enough support around to help configure it and solve problems.

I for one would love to see your setup, I was using an old setup, had it working perfectly, and now with 1.61 I can't get a layout working to save my life, it's starting to piss me off....

Someone figure out a way for me to make this community, and I will.  I could also throw my mamewah 1.61 on here, but I don't really want to.  There is no reason to stay there if you can figure out the newer.

The biggest difference between 1.62 and 1.61 is the external apps are much better supported. If you just use it for mame, there isn't any reason to upgrade.

Two other additions that come to mind are Themes (may be in 1.61) and volume control.
