I was reading the paper yesterday and it had a small article about a US company that is selling a smoked Salmon flavour carbonated drink.

I was just wondring if anyone on your side of the pond has either seen or (god forbid) tried it. I mean I love smoked Salmon, but in a drink? Yeutch!

I heard a radio interview with the creator last year. These are more for a gimmick, and meant to be collected rather than drink. Every year they try to release a new flavor so you can collect them all.

Many years ago Tudor crisps (chips for those across the pond) released a hedgehog flavour and if you don't believe me do a google search.
How in hell anyone would know what hedgehog tastes like I do not know.

I talked some co-workers into splitting the cost with me because like you, we were all curious (first, we were disgusted, naturally, then we HAD to try 'em).

They all taste like ass. Not ass as in "this soda sucks", but ass as in "This tastes like what I'd picture it to taste like in liquid form".

In order of worst to less-worst:

Broccoli casserole
Salmon
Brussels Sprouts
Turkey & gravy
Corn on the cob
Pecan pie

On the plus side, we poured some into some glasses for a few of the girls in the office and didn't tell 'em what it was. I wish I had gotten their looks on video for you guys. I've never seen looks that screamed "this tastes like ass" without saying a word
