This subject is a little mis-leading.

It is those Ewoks.

The foul mouthed crud that flows out of their mouths would make a sailor blush.

Seriously though... I honestly don't recall hearing any bad language (from the game itself), but I do most of my gaming online, so I haven't had massive experience with the AI's communicative skills.

I know there isn't anything overtly bad, such as the f word, but there could very well be some damns or similar "bad" words in there.

I would think that unless we are talking a puritan family, that it would be just fine.

As for the versions being the same... I haven't played the PC version, but I think the only version that differs any is the PSP one, and that is because it has some extra game modes (though lacks online play).

get it for xbox if you value online multiplayer.
Back in MY day we lived on the moon and we had to build a rocket ship from scratch to get to the Earth before we suffocated.

The thing with the ratings are you never know what symptoms the game actually has.  I don't recall any foul language in Battlefront II either.

It could be that there is some and I just missed it, or am unwaverd by it lol.  Or it could be that there was just enough violence in the game that the ESRB rated it Teen... and there actually isn't any bad language.
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.

Thanks for the input everyone.  I played it this weekend at a friends house and the only language I heard was coming out of our mouths.   :-X

I'll pass along that this game is fine for the kids.

It has some langauge in it that the esrb thinks is mild.  The first battlefront just says violence and is Teen rated.

I couldn't find specifics on the esrb rating system but hte RIAA has this
"Strong language refers to rude, obscene, sexist or threatening with subjects of death. Injury and drugs are defined as moderate. Occurrence of strong language places media within the explicit content category."

So if the ESRB was simularly it could be that a cut scene has the dark side threatening the light side's life.

Actually if you look on the back of the box the games always say why they are rated what they are rated.
