Forgot to mention that the control panel is installed and held in place via industrial strength velcro. When I rotate the control panel upwards to service the i-pac, the velcro acts as a hinge. Oh and I need to do T-Molding. Picture below:

Do you plan on adding more stuff to it?  Looks like a lot of free space leftover...

I plan on adding a tracball in the center later on and there are white side buttons that act like flippers that you can't see. Other than that, it is like an economy cab.

I like it, but I think you may wish you put your joysticks a little farther up in the control panel after a while.  That is going to take its toll on your wrists.

I'll look into your recommendation. I used a template from an overlay that bought about a year ago. I haven't played extensively on it yet, but I will see how it feels.

Added T-Molding over the weekend. Ignore the bezel, it is not big enough. The small monitor is for testing

I haven't seen anyone with a hard plexi control panel. It is really resistant to breaking and has nice rounded corners.

Wow! I haven't seen that before either. 

Did you have that custom cut for you (and the edges rounded) or did you find a piece that was the right size?

My mom's boyfriend works for a boat cabinet company here in Florida. They use hard plexi and lexan for boat cabinets. I could of gotten it in any color I wanted and he cut this CP from scraps. The corners are nicely rounded and smooth. I have seen what most people have done with their plexi and I haven't seen something so like this before. What I had originally asked him to do is cut me a piece of smoked plexi that had all the holes and was nice and rounded. I gave him the wooden template. When I got it back the next day, he had made a mistake, but it actually turned out pretty good. I was a little bummed at first, but then I stuck the controls in there and used some industrial strength velcro to secure it. It looked really nice. He also donated two pieces of rounded plexi for the marquee.

He got $20 for his work. Overall, something that I thought was going to look bad actually turned out pretty nice. I never really liked the thickness of the wooden CP that I built anyways. He would of done the bezel for me too but they don't have anything thin enough.
