need some help with MameWah
« on: December 01, 2005, 02:48:40 pm »
Hello,

I have successsfully muddled through installing Mamewah.  Mostly through the help of this forum.  I am running mame .99b, mamewah 1.61 on Windows XP.  Mamewah seems to work well, I've gotten the game list created and the games launch successfully.
I have 2 problems though that I cant find an answer for here.
If anyone knows the answers, I would be very grateful

First, when running almost every game I've tried; the arrows keys seem to work only sometimes, more often than not they tend to adjust volume control and display control.  It makes games unplayable.  I figure i've misconfigured mamewah somehow.  I decided this because if i bypass mamewah and launch the game from the command prompt, this is not an issue.  I am basically running with default ini files.  I have tried comparing them to the ones from the CPviewer site, but didnt see anything heading that direction.

Second problem was game specific.  When running Frogger the screen display is so small I have a hard time playing it.  Again when launched manually, the sizing is fine.

Any ideas,
Thanks
