Maybe they wanted it all for themselves?

Just wait until someone proves vegetables are sentient.  That'll throw these guys right off the deep end.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

You know I hate people that do ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- like this. Sure, have your beliefs and stand up when you need to be heard, but this kind of crap never achieves anything.

Any publicity that might be raised is forgotten within a day, I will never understand people who protest in this manor. I think it is because they were born without a brain.

The pigs chained themselves up so they can't get away when you set them on fire, too.

I believe the next level after Vegan is Fruitarian - they can only eat food that has already fallen from the plant/tree. When I saw it in that Julia Roberts movie I thought they were making fun of veggos, but apparently there really are people like that in the world.

If you are really hungry and shake the tree, is this classed as cheating?

"Over 600,000 of these pigs are confined in factory farms, where they have no access to fresh air, sunlight or open space."
Can't say I really agree with that.

"...the pigs are taken to a slaughterhouse, where they are shot with a electric bolt gun and then killed."
LOL, why shoot them with a bolt gun if your just going to kill them "later"?  I think the author is a little confused  ;).

"After about 40 minutes of being locked to the truck..."
I wonder how hot it was inside for the pigs without any air movement?

Personally, I would have sat right in front of them with a fork in one hand and a plate in the other... drooling all over myself of course.  Unless I had a camp stove, then I would have been frying bacon for the crowd with a sign that said "Keep Pork off your Fork... Eat it while it's HOT!"

I've always thought that modern science just doesn't have the capability to prove that fruits and veggies can feel pain. I mean, we used to think the world was flat. How do we know that a carrot isn't screaming in pain when you rip it out of the ground, dice it up, and throw it in boiling water?

Of course, I am accepting donations to fund that research.

I think that's fair enough. You can also eat any wildlife that happens to fall out too.

Take oysters for example.  We eat them raw, and I'm sure one or two I've eaten were probably still alive.

Food only has to be mute.  Until the carrots can vocalize, I think we're safe.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

You're a foodist.  The corn has ears, the potatoes have eyes....you're willing to discriminate on the basis that there's no mouth!  You are the Hitler of the fruit and vegetable world!  Off with your head (of lettuce!)
