Driving
« on: November 30, 2005, 12:00:50 pm »
I feel like complaing about bad drivers. This seems like as good a place as any.

Some people just don't seem to be cut out to be the first car in line at a traffic light. I'm sure you know the type I'm talking about. The light turns green. The car does not move. It would seem that in addition to the new light color they need some more prompting before they will actually make any effort to proceed through the intersection. Since my car does not have a button labled "Stingray cordially invites you to go ahead and start driving at this time", I make do with the horn and the middle finger.

Thank you for your support.

The scary part is that he was shaving between his legs too.

Had I known that I would have just given him a shove with my front bumper.

This is where somebody makes a joke about me rear ending mission while he was shaving between his legs.

Stingray, you didn't realize it, but that person was from MrC's tribe.  They were waiting for a nicer shade of green.  Kinda like a whiter shade of pale, but more insistent.

Today's gripe. Cell phone talkers. I'm driving down the street and here comes some complete idiot talking on the phone, not looking where she's going, driving up the middle of the road. Not looking in my direction at all. I whip the truck into a convienece store parking lot to avoid an accident. Holy, crap, here comes another one. I pull into a parking place to avoid hitting that guy, also talking on the phone, also not looking in my direction.

Well f' it. After that I need a drink and I'm already parked, I went in and bought a six pack.

A week ago I was driving down a fairly main road.  I slammed my breaks on suddenly.  The car behind me just BARELY misses hitting me HARD because he's on his phone.  He gets out of his car and starts to walk towards me and yell for both stopping and being stopped.

It wasn't until I started to roll down my window when he noticed the woman with a baby carriage crossing the street, for whom I had stopped.

I should have thrown him under my car and driven off.

There's no reason to risk damaging your suspension on the bodies of fools.

I should write mindless bumper stickers or something. ;D
