Did you read down to where he is a registered sex offender for raping his kids' nanny?
When do we start registering murderers? Anyone else find it odd that we only care about people who put their doohickey in the wrong spots.
All other crimes are somehow less significant. 
Dunno about your state, but in my state, any judge that thinks they can divine whether or not a person won't re-offend can free a sex offender. Not to his city, of course

but he'll most definitely turn him loose to a state-paid-for house, naturally without checking whether or not it's anywhere near a school, daycare, or pedophiles-R-us.
It's an often-repeated situation around here lately. I prefer the "Sent to a remote island for sexual predators" punishment, but that hasn't caught on in any of the states yet. My evil plans don't have catchy names yet, but that's the final stumbling block. Soon....oh yes, soon!
