What to do with VF2 bench?

Okay, I've tried to sell the full cab, I've tried to give away the bench, but no one has interest in this thing no matter what I do.  I want my basement back.

It's not visible from the picture, but the bench actually has some cool artwork on it and is hollow.

I've tried to Freecycle it, no takers.

I'm tempted to pull off the top piece and convert it into a toybox or other pretty storage item. 

Any other ideas, other than trash?
