yeah that thing is crazy I saw it being talked about on some channel Discovery channel I think. The prices for those islands are huge..

Neither of those guys look like Slartibartfast to me. He'll always look like the guy that my imagination cooked up first time I read that book. The one on the left comes closer, he has to have a beard.

The land is sinking...

But the cool part is that the buildings are all supported by hydraulic columns that are constantly monitored and adjusted to keep the buildings level at all times. If one part of the island settled faster than another part then the building would just crack in half.

If it's on discovery again, watch it. It's incredible.
