Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you all know that www.screenshotarchive.com will be no longer as of the beginning of December when my webhosting runs out.

Absolutely! Your site is a godsend for the beginner and the not-so beginner.

If nobody can host it, maybe we can at least keep the contents alive in torrents.
I'm willing to upload and seed a bunch of it. Just not sure waht the best way to go about it is.

Maybe I'll start by creating a MameWah skins torrent. I assume this is OK?

EDIT: I also have the full Gameboy box scan collection so I could make thoise into a torrent too

You really should "sell it" to someone instead of just having it disappear off the net.

(I put sell it in quotes meaning, just pass it on to someone who will do a good job maintaining it, and only charge them the domain transfer fee).

I can host it. No problem. I'm already hosting a few different arcade websites, and I've got the technology / bandwidth / experience, so I'd be happy to do it. Just PM me. Full url, suburl, whatever... you be in charge, have me take over. Whatever you want.

OK after some consideration, I will back out. I was going to slap ads on it to subsidize the bandwidth, but it doesn't get enough traffic for that.

Stuzza, just wondering, would you approve of torrents being put up of the individual sections of the site?

Might keep things floating around for awhile, if nothing else, so someone can host them later.

I think over time I've gotten everything, and could make up one relatively quickly (though, I've never made one before so god knows I'd find some way to screw it up

)

Yep, I really liked that site too, when I'm was new to this scene.

It was a great MAMEWAH help page, and got things to work. wich I would been happy to host that part (apart, I do not known how much bandwith the files took), but I may not have the time to mainstrian it (I would change it to a php site to prevent a bandwitch hook with using bots and so on).

My worst year of marriage was the first. A lot of highs and lows. Learning to REALLY live with someone... it's tough.

That's been about 7 years ago though... it's gotten better every year since.
