Screen Advice please
« on: November 23, 2005, 03:28:10 pm »
Hi,

I'm pretty new at all this but I have been offered a Hantarex MGG 28 inch RGB monitor.

I know Hantarex are very good, in particular the EV/3 which I believe replaced the MGG in their product range.

But the problem is that the MGG has a 9 pin connector and takes an RGB input not a standard 15pin HD.

Would it possible to use this monitor in a mame cabinet and would it be any good for a display?

Thanks for any help.

T

I forgot to add, these screen are normally used as part of a video wall, much like most of the Hantarex monitors I believe

Sorry I got most of this wrong.  I believe the monitor is an RGB only 9 pin EQ/3 monitor.  Does anyone know the best way to hook this up to a pc?

And would it be worth it? Would I get a decent display for games?
