Can anyone identify this side art?
« on: November 19, 2005, 05:02:06 am »
I bought a battle-damaged cabinet recently (my first mame project) and i started sanding the sides today and found this Taito art underneath the many layers of abuse

The Taito logo is followed by taitronics.

I've done a google on it but i can't find a picture the same or what game it is.

If anyone here recognises the art/game let me know.

Space Chaser.

That's some cool sideart. Most of the Taito cabs have generic Taito sideart.

Hey thanks for that - i totally didn't know this game existed.

A friend thought that it might have been Alcon (slap fight).

I'd love to restore the cabinet to the original state but it's got so many holes and new additions that it'd take me a lifetime.

If you're looking for a cab and know the manufacturer, you can browse KLOV by manufacturer and just start clicking on anything that sounds relavent (like titles with space in their title from the early 80's). That's how I found it. It's cool that there's already one in there. Some have no photo reference.

Hey thanks for the tip. I didn't realise that you could go by manufacturer on KLOV. I'm still quite a newbie when it comes to these things.
