what cabinet for 36" neotec>
« on: November 18, 2005, 03:59:38 pm »
I just acquired 2 36" Neotec arcade monitors from a business who could not use them due to their large size. What would these fit in?

This is my first post, how many before I can post in classified? (hint hint, wink wink)

Is there a market for these large tube type monitors? Would I be better off trying to sell them here, or eBay? ??? ::)

There is a (limited) market for them - specifically anyone looking to build a showcase cab or similar.

The problem is transport. You could easily spend several times the cost of the monitor just of shipping it somewhere. It also would require plannig as they are unmovable with only 1 person. This normally restricts sales to a distance where people can drive and pick it up....

Tell me about it.....I actually loaded these in my van by myself. I would not suggest this to anyone.

I can ship them within the US for <$300, but that's still alot. The original invoice on these was $850ish, but I'm not sure if that included shipping.

I'm not sure if I mentioned that these are still in the box. One of them is still factory sealed, and the other was just opened to find that it was the wrong size. They've been stored since 2001.
